Employees were told the layoffs were about redundancy and not being strategic enough. Sure, some low performers were cut. Plenty of solid, capable people were let go in HR, Marketing, and Sales all over the world. Meanwhile, the company SPENT A LOT on acquisitions and EXECUTIVE LEADERS WHO HAVEN'T DELIVERED. The people who actually kept things running were the ones who got cut. This isn't strategy, it's protecting LEADERSHIP and their image.

@2fh sept but they kept it smaller and quiet.... a number of my former colleagues got nailed....
was there another Layoff after aug?
Wonder how’s working out now? https://www.cisa.gov/news-events/directives/ed-26-01-mitigate-vulnerabilities-f5-devices
@293 Oh yes, it will HIT
@a3 I remember FLD crying during that RIF in 23 or maybe was late 22, the one where they announced 9% the days previous. I guess he got used to that feeling over the following 20 RIFs. Lean into it
Anyways the job market is about to take another huge hit, probably tomorrow: huge swathes of US companies announcing them
@sq “ enterprise-wide People Strategy, ensuring data-driven decisions and measurable outcomes to achieve our business goals” - nice BS generator output, perfect word salad, just like clueless Kamala and her best “The significance of the passage of time, right? The significance of the passage of time. So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time”.
@j5 basically doing social experiments with 0 accountability
@sq The vision is putting money in Executives pockets.

"Kristan Schrider, VP, People Strategy and Analytics is a visionary leader. Building on her decade-long experience at Google, Kristan will drive F5’s enterprise-wide People Strategy, ensuring data-driven decisions and measurable outcomes to achieve our business goals."
@ps oooo, another Mengele-like experiment on humans. She finished at Google and continue experiments on F5.
@pv many miserable dropouts end up in F5 to continue their disastrous practices
@ps hasnt been too well at her job has she?
@j7 Kristen S. from Google

@j5 What is their name?
Your VP of People Strategy & Analytics was at my company. They were known for shaking things up without clear direction, making changes that weren't thought through, and leaving teams scrambling.
@e1 FLD and the rest of the gang don't think in the long term. What's important is the numbers for the following quarter. They don't give a rat's a-s about time horizon further than one year.
The cost of rehiring and retraining can have a significant long-term impact.
@cs I was at F5 20 years and accumulated 1200 shares over that time. Nice that he gets 1300 shares a quarter to sell off. Something isn't right here.
@cs just like Kara recently said of her 7 years at F5 being a tour, so it is with the Prophet. I guess that DEI is all about. $$$$$$$
Just checked SEC and the prophet sold 1300 shares worth $416793 today, after these layoffs..
@aj so they just drop a message and vacated? Was it as group or individually?
Right after a company meeting celebrating record profit margins and forward EPS which is leading to record C suite bonuses. They got a taste of that and want more next year by proactively reducing headcount. It was made clear it wasn't for performance or margin, it was just to get more out of fewer people to increase margin later.
@aj "leaders" that don't have the ba--s to do it in person.
@a3 It was a pre-recorded video.
@OP How many heads did they chop this time? Or is it still ongoing? Did they send emails, team messages, or a pre-recorded video from the prophet bragging about how sorry he is and how he understands "difficult time"?
@OP rather protecting their bank accounts $$$$$
