Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs
What happened to SF?
Been here 15 years and the last few years have been next-level dysfunction. Constant reorgs, zero communication, and whiplash "priorities" that change weekly. New hires think this chaos is normal, that's how long this circus has been running. At this point I just assume every meeting invite is bad news.

Today was the first day in over 4 years that either State Farm or HCL didn't pay me nearly $70/hour to ur my grass.
I've recently lost my cushy WFH job that I spent over 2 hours a day (most days) actually working and not watching TV or going for long walks .
Does anyone have any pointers on how to get by?
I'm going to have a couple more hours of free time and I won't need to check my computer screen every 30 minutes to see if someone sent some "important" email that I must read.
