Just read that GM beat 2024 earnings estimates and increased their 2025 forecast. Also read elsewhere that their "performance bonus" multiplier will be 1.44.

Sounds great. Increase Farleys bonus
Keep in mind that GM’s profit sharing is North America results. Ford’s is based on world wide performance (including China) and many other metrics like quality, etc. Expect significancy less than GM for salary workers. Union workers are tied to North America only.
@cq+1jjpf50je Quite simply, there is no company culture. That idea flew out the window when corporations decided that its people were commoditized resources unworthy of any long term investment.
Which is fine, but I would rather they not pretend that we have some kind of special relationship. I do a job, they pay me. End.
@eq+1jjpf50je can confirm this is accurate with Jan sales being flat. You’ll find out when we report earnings
To quote the honorable Judge Elihu Smails, "you will get nothing and like it"!
70% if Jan sales flat, 80% if sales up
I'm pretty certain management will get a bigger bonus than me, even though they are who dictated the direction of the company towards disaster.
"Suspect a lot of 'met' this year.."
It always should be "met". Met means you are doing your job you are paid to do. Exceed means you are giving away free work and extra life force than is required. Translation: If you are above "met" your getting scammed and subtracting from some other area in your life. It's a game, play it as you will. If you'd like to always be down in the poker game, up to you. Simping for company culture is a losing proposition.
60%
Don’t get too excited!! It will be 135% for executive management and 65%or less for GSR/LL6. Just like before. After all they have the place in tip top shape: stock price, market share, moral, product people want, vehicles flying off dealer lots, etc, etc.
Well, quality is a major drag on us this year. I'm going with 75% - 80%...plus a bonus of lower rating. Suspect a lot of 'met' this year...and 5%-10% not met. Raises, 2% - 3%...
Ford salary will get 150% bonus
This is a yearly event, GM out performs Ford and our bonus reflects that fact.
If I was not close to retiring (no Ford pension due) I would look to GM for opportunities.
