Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Devotion to company

I used to work with people who were really devoted to this company. They are now in some other companies. Today it seems that there is almost no one who is really devoted to GM?

Master Splinter has always had a grudge against GM because of the company’s leadership in everything.

You are all wrong! It was written by a half-man, half-rat who lives in tunnels far below the site of the old Briggs stadium

The last post was a lot of work to troll someone who was obviously just writing an article about people who can't move on and get addicted to websites which fuel perpetual outrage. I'd believe it was written by an agent of China.

That last post was a lot of work to troll somebody about what was obviously a traumatic event in their life. I would believe it was from a GM employee.

Hello sir or madam @clsr+1i9zIuCF I am doing a story on rage addiction, will you please answer the following questions?

  1. When did you discover this website
  2. How many time per week do you read this website?
  3. What do you feel you gain from posting on this website 3 years after severance from a company?
  4. Is there any year you estimate you will move passed logging in to this website, or do you foresee yourself logging in until you finally pass on?

I was a devoted GM employee for 25 years. Then in February 2019 I was called into a conference room, where GM’s devotion to me lasted about 15 minutes, or until they could get me out of the building, whichever came first.

Devotion to company is a thing of the past. Because devotion to employees was a thing of the past first.

Devotion is supposed to work both ways. Have you seen any indication that GM is devoted to anyone but shareholder’s return?
After years of increasing our workloads and accelerating project timelines, many are burned out. Then add telling people how to think, believe (GM Behaviors) and act according to woke virtues. Feeling the warmth of devotion?

This is late stage capitalism. Devotion to company is a thing of the past.

When they decide to lay off, will they take devotion into consideration?
