Happy Halloween Weekend, HR Schwamily!

So let me get this straight… Schwab “leadership” is having HR (some of the lowest paid employees at Schwab) work Saturday and Sunday right before a major family holiday because they (the highest paid employees at Schwab) failed to execute a timely and dignified layoff?

If any of the HR employees have kids, especially young ones, are they missing out on their kids’ Halloween festivals, parades, costume parties, pumpkin patches, etc. that are all happening this weekend?

Don’t let anyone fool you into the Schwamily nonsense. Go be with your actual family. And take lots of pics! Your kids are adorable in their costumes. They’ll never be this little again.

Wow so many downvotes on @cky+1pjvpnln, yet it’s the most truth that has been spoken on here in a while. We all go out to eat on the weekends and go shopping at stores that are all staffed with people…brace for this….who work on the weekend. So HR was asked to work on one weekend. Big deal. That’s not the problem here. The problem is the shitily planned, shitily executed layoff process. That’s the problem. Do distract from that with “poor HR has to work on the weekend”

NO WAY those SF scmucks should be allowed to work remote - they OWNed their future when they decide to live in/around SF. THEY are no different than the rest of us but THEY probably have higher salaries !

Just pretend you are taking Monday and Tuesday off of work, and that the lay off starts Wednesday. Solved!

The fact that we all have been waiting for this for MONTHS and now it's finally here...and yall still have a problem because of the proximity to Halloween, of all holidays to die on a hill for. Seriously??

I get the point you’re making, Schwab has completely botched this, but let’s not act like working on a weekend is a crime against humanity. There are plenty of people who work on weekends who love their children just the same. Think about that the next time you go out to eat on a weekend.
