Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Here we go

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is going to be a hard 30 days for a lot of people. Emotions, stress and anxiety are high. Be professional during this period. You may have all sorts of opinions of the leadership, but remember not all leaders are “bad”. Show grace and compassion but most importantly be humble. If you are laid off, this goes for myself, it’s okay to be mad, sad, and grieve. Don’t post it on social media. Don’t record it. Just take it in. Maybe take a week off to grieve the loss of a job. Take a tactical knee and drink water. Then get your ruck back on and keep moving.

Most of all, everyone reading this, everything is going to be okay. Be strong.

Broadcom acquire Cisco? And, no. I don't see how that's possible given the financials.

I am not putting on rose colored glasses, but I am not putting on a victim mentality because until told otherwise I have a job. So I’ll keep rucking. If I get impacted, I’ll take a tactical knee, drink water, and keep rucking. That’s what mentally strong, resilient people do.

I am ex-Army and writing the OP made me think of how much the Army prepared me for these moments.

Nice post HR, telling everyone to put on the rose colored glasses and keep it to yourself.
