IBM's Red Hat "Allyship Commandments" Reads Like A Religious Text

Unbelievable racism against whites within IBM.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5wyG2n3GN8

One commandment states “only white people can be racist”
From a different section: “Whiteness constructs the game, hides the rules, then rigs the game, over and over again.”

O'Keefe buttlickers are probably the same as Trump buttlickers.

Lovers of Putin for sure. No wonder they are against capitalism. Fascism all the way for them.

Don’t forget 15-20% of power revenue comes from placing power within high end storage. So if Power is to be impacted, IBM will need to arrange for high end storage to be protected. Don’t forget IBM is in the process of moving high end storage manufacturing out of Hungary to Mexico where Power manufacturing already resides. Are we finally seeing IBM concede manufacturing is a commodity to be consolidated and spun off, while SW is where profits are to be mined. Certainly something more than Labor costs are in play here.

“I believe that what we need to make our workplaces truly inclusive is a clear set of practical behaviors that we can embed into our day-to-day working lives. To address this need, below are the seven allyship behaviors that I explore in my book The Art of Active Allyship. Employees at any level can engage in these actions to nurture inclusion in their workplace”

Sounds like the right thing for companies to be doing eh? Forget about making money, the corporate entity can fix society! Who knew? They ended slavery, and gave women the right to vote. He-l, equal pay for equal work - they so nailed that!

Thank god for corporations, only their moral clarity can guide us in these dangerous times.

In LLC we trust.

I’m afraid the reporting isn’t accurate, they didn’t mention the broken chopsticks shoved under your fingernails.

IBM has never had a layoff...ever. IBM's modus operandi over the years has been to fire employees en masse, followed by selling off operations for cash. No rehiring of dismissed employees, no significant investment into building up the business...no taking of risk. If a LOB isn't profitable in a short timeframe, then the LOB is abandoned in the most legally acceptable way (RA/PIP followed by selloff of plant and equipment).

I tend to agree with @cic...IBM will soon enter the "dismantling" stage. IBM's BOD is directly responsible, IMNSHO. They ran the company into the ground over the years and did a fire sale on whatever they could sell, returning proceeds to the shareholders. It's a fantastic setup for stock traders, but lousy for employees and traditional investors.

But are there any layoffs? Seems like this space is beginning to devolve.

As much as I can’t stand Elon Musk, I would like to see him buy IBM and then clean house of a lot of the IBM execs.

The process of liquidation of IBM assets started almost 2 decades ago. IBM executives lined their own pockets with fat bonuses from the proceeds of the liquidation. IBM executives liquidated estate assets first, next few divisions such as X866 (to Lenovo) and fabs (Global foundaries). They also lined their pockets with bribes during multiple useless acquisitions (example: Red Hat …..)
IBM is reaching the dismantling stage. Soon, what is left of IBM will dismembered into small pieces to ease their sell to different entities.
My personal guess, Power is the next to be shed from IBM portfolio.
