@10p are London being let go too?
Surely if they're all in the UK they have to be given the same?

Locust consume the crops they didn’t plant on the field they didn’t cultivate. That’s our mgt strategy. You were once needed but are too expensive and must be sacrificed to prop up the stock. The tax credits could have expired as well so time to move and abuse another govt and their people. The feasting continues

@d4 I don’t think TB could have done anything - this has been on the cards for a long time and decision was made from the top. I agree that AK will look out for herself.

@d3 agree. AK looking out for herself and will make the move to Manchester not giving a hoot about the people left behind jobless. Tim would have fought for the staff.

@cx there’s a shiny new office to pay for so Manchester won’t close. It’ll just be staffed with interns and new graduates getting paid peanuts

Meeting in Poole informing the office is closing in 1 year time, conversation about redundancy to start in weeks. How one is suppose to work knowing all the knowledge and work are moving to Pune and Manchester? All these closings to justify the stupidity that was having the new building in Manchester? They are all going to Pune eventually.

How long until Manchester goes though? Redundancies happening all the time and management moved to Pune

How does it make sense that experienced people worked in Trustee & Depositary in Cork and Wexford and these people are losing their jobs while they set up a new T&D dept in Dublin when there wasnt one there before completely diluting the knowledge of how T&D in Ireland in run?

Does Manchester currently have Corporate Trust dept? Yet the jobs from Poole are being moved up there. Again dilution of knowledge and experience.

Just 2 LOBs off the top of my head that I can see being a disaster. Who the he-l thinks doing this is a good idea?

Get out while you can as someone that left 6 months ago I can tell you for a fact it is far far better when you leave. Employers that value your effort and know how to balance your workload and personal life and actually care about their staff. It makes such a massive difference to your life to be happy and stress free.

Robin taking out his well worn meat axe to get his selective investor friends at BLK to a $125 share price before the holidays.
All hail Bank of New Pune.
