It's not bad for a new grad. You'll get 100-120k base in NYC and rapid increases. There is a pay delta between schools fyi.

You need to treat this as a first job and jump after 2-3 years max, or move into a revenue part of the company, start the climb up to the director, managing director equivalent levels at any financial institution.

Move into a marketable revenue producing position and you’ll do just fine. Work 3-4 years then leave for greener pastures. Don’t listen to the rah-rah speech of building a career there. Take your knowledge and go to a place that values you!

@OP Enjoy the free coffee and seasonal cookies and ice cream on Thursdays while in office. I'm not sure about your salary. HR has been tasked to share a pretty broad range but if you have no experience, expect an offer well below the mid-point salary range based on the position and level you are.

I'm sorry to inform that your tenure here will likely be short-lived - maybe 3 - 4 years tops. You may receive annual merit raises of 2% if you master the art of muttering AI statements every other sentence and post selfies all over LinkedIn, along with tagging and heaping effusive praise on your Director and Senior Director for their brilliant leadership and support. If that's not your thing and your don't value the free coffee, then I would strongly reconsider before accepting any offer.

prob 90-100k if in NYC. youll get promoted after 1 year and then youll become expendable jus like all the rest of us. enjoy your honeymoon period while it lasts. every company will be the same.

It varies wildly from location to location. Varies wildly based on what you would do. No one will be able to offer more than a range. And the range is comically large.

You should expect around 2MM per year plus bonus of up to 7 quadrillion based on your performance and on how many times you can say AI nonstop everyday.
Hope it helps.
