Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

Failing up or born on third base?

Management universally stupid. Met CEO’s dad was a CEO. Military preference.

@cboy+1vqgtf6B - The executives are mostly responding to how they are incentivized.

If checking boxes is worth more than retaining a big client, we'll they'll follow the priorities coming down from the board and CEO. The fish rots from the head down.

Now, when you say, big, how big? Are we talking Obscenely big?

As the Met execs start clearing out of the offices to "rest & recharge w/ family and friends", it's worth repeating that my LOB will lose an existing BIG client in Q1 2025. But hey, atleast the SVP has all his employee DEI boxes checked for the year! Feliz Navidad!

Does OFAC know about CEO trips to Libya paid for by MetLife?

@6glc+1vqgtf6B. Coincidence? I think not.

Is this related to CEO giving money to hammas on his annual trips to Lebanon?

Love to hear the details.

"The apparent violations related to insurance policies provided to entities in the United Arab Emirates that were owned or controlled by the government of Iran, the Treasury Department added."

"The settlement amount reflected OFAC's determination that the apparent violations were voluntarily self-disclosed and were not egregious, the department added."

Bet we get a double dose of money laundering / banned entities training.

Looks like someone didn't complete their mandatory training. As a result, the rest of us will probably now be subjected to even more mandatory training.

@3rzd+1vqgtf6B you forgot, The General is giving daily 'rah-rah' and 'let's go' speeches to all under his command as Pappy has instructed. It's all unicorns and rainbows under the guise of 'New Frontier'.
