Working for Belk today is like working in hot kitchen and cutting onions. Since purchased by Sycamore Partners in 2015, Belk has changed from elegant retail stores to cheap outlet dollar stores with low quality clothing merchandises and terrible toxic working retail with no direction or future planning. Nasty and terrible customers services and no caring top executive leaders. It is all about greed and making profits at any cost. Again Belk is like a big ugly onion. You peel one layer of everyday lies, dishonest and nasty store managers at a time and find out there is nothing but emptiness there and most the time you weep!
