Voice Survey Results Delayed

The results for the Voice Survey were supposed to be released last Thursday. By mid-day Thursday, we heard that they are delayed to sometime this week. I'm guessing they were pretty bad, and they need more time to spin the results into something positive.

SUPRISE! This was actually a voice stress monitor. That is why they ask if you agree that Ford has the greatest management in the world. Hope you said yes, and quickly and confidently at that!

@jb either your manager misunderstands the system or told you the wrong info. But this is not true

@g9 wrong. My manager mentioned they can see what region you are in. US vs Canada for example

@c3 not really. Any slicing of the results that leads to a granularity smaller than x responses is not available to view for any people leader.

Actually i prefer that it is known who the responses are from for The Pulse Survey.
I doubt any exec has the nerve to interview anyone about their survey responses.

These surveys are only to fool employees ,, until one day they will be kicked out without any survey or considerations,, feel sorry for those who are stuck there

Dirty middle management , using layoff to target the competition without caring the impact on other people or company,, shameless people i dont even have to name them, its right on top of employees mind!!!

Not anonymous and never drives any positive change. Our mgt highly pressured us to take it so they got great answers for every question because I’ve learned my lesson about even attempting to answer those things homely. Also the questions aren’t worded well so I think everyone interprets the questions differently. It’s a useless exercise.

It's the stupidest survey! When they refer to mgt, what does that mean? Do you base your answer off 1 manager, even though another manager doesn't do the same thing? Wasteful! If you want to know what's going on in the company, get off your a-s and go ask people personally, and observe. So many recalls should give you a quick answer too!

After being honest on a survey about a couple of questionable situations our manager was involved with, he came to me and said I know what you said on the survey and I'm watching you. Yeah, I felt threatened and as usual nothing changed. But I promised myself I wouldnt answer another survey again; or if I was strongly encouraged to do so, Id give strictly "middle-of-the-road answers". It's so obvious upper mgmt doesnt really want to know whats happening anyway - so why keep asking? (by the way, that same manager whom I referenced in the survey - was eventually promoted and transferred to another division. I guess it's true people are usually promoted to their highest level of incompetency)

Anyone really pay attention to these voice surveys?

@c4 I usually just don’t answer them, if you tell the truth, worry about consequence, tell lies, you can’t live with yourself.

Confirmed that it is not truly anonymous. Sure your ID may not be sent to your manager BUT they do share the region with managers. My former boss (ll6) mentioned in a meeting that he has an idea of who said what, based on region (US/Canada)... Which seemed threatening... Anyways, here I am, laid off a year later.

results are anonymous, but if you’re a people leader and have say 10 people, 5 in the canada and 2 in the east coast us, 3 in the west coast, having breakdown by region gives everything you need to figure out who said what.

They could dig up the pulse survey comments from the last 20 yrs and learn tons.

Will get some type of response saying 92% of people are happy as clams.

After every survey do you know what changes?

NOTHING!

Management stays the same and promotes more inept. Circle is complete.

We had a probably quite similar survey at Walmart when I worked there. It was a joke because no matter what issues/concerns were brought up in the survey, nothing ever changed. We were always told they were anonymous but we knew better. Leadership would give the survey administrator the full court press if they really wanted to know specific employees that roasted them. The one question I specifically remember that was on every survey was would you refer a friend or family member to work there. You can guess how bad the results were on that one. One year, the results were so bad, the release of the results were delayed by 3 months. The company took that long to figure out how to spin the absolutely abhorrent results.
