What if its the summer equinox after the mid year election on a Tues and I’m on vacation leave. If they send out a notice on a Wednesday before that Tues. how am I affected? Do I get extra pay or am I penalized? I’ve read the handbook and I don’t see a section that covers this.

So if I’m on garden leave three weeks before I was going to give a two weeks notice, and I have one month of paid vacation, 3 days of comp, and one unused week of employee vacation purchase time….after one week, I get my paperwork and send it back, after 30 days do I get my severance past the 90 day mark if I live in NY but plan on moving to Oregon two 4 weeks after I get my garden leave.
LOL. Even though its tongue in cheek - ill respond....no difference - WARN is the same...your UI benefits will be paid by NJ. WARN is by NJ (which is no different then NYC).
