5 day RTO forces attrition without having to pay severance

Get that BS out of here, bootlicker. A tiny tiny % of employees haven't complied with RTO and they've mostly been canned. The execs will want us to believe what you're shoveling is true, but it's not. The VAST majority of employees being downsized are entirely compliant with HYs BS wasteful RTO policies. It's stupid, we all know it's stupid, but we're swiping those badges and hunkering down in our stupid Fing cubes and pushing through the day so we can GTFO of there with our sanity intact.
@fd+1jh3cjwbq You mean id*ot executives who don’t come to office?
I hope it happens. The id--ts that don’t come in 3 days now should be fired. They are the ones to blame if we go to five days a week
Not that difficult to engineer your own severance. If you stop going in and do nothing, it will take a very long time for them to fire you still... given some of you are still employed today doing that.
I think you missed the point. If RTO drives attrition, voluntary, there is no severance.
@bd meltdown? I'll be celebrating the year+ of PTO.
I don’t want it to happen but it would be fun to watch the full on toddler meltdowns on this board if they do it 🤣🤣
Without title changes, layoff usually means no H1b replacements for 6 months.
RTO forced attrition = Sponsor H1b now
Odd, as a 100% remote employee who is close to 10x the 40 mile trigger distance from the nearest "hub", RTO will do zero to cut my severance costs, once I'm downsized.
Ruining a failed strategy should be a good thing. Someone should have "ruined it" with 8 Is Great. Instead, bootlickers like yourself went along and the entire company is suffering a slow destruction as a process. And where did that great idea come from? Oh yeah, in-office workers and executive hacks. GTFO. Your fake adulting destroyed this company.
Did people forget that prior to COVID management team was competent and company profit share with employees?
@aa+1jh3cjwbq Did people forget that prior to COVID:
- Companies provide all kind of perks from food, equipments, offsite events, onsite support, onsite facilities, ergonomic work environment.
- Competitive pay and career advancement opportunities
- Non-toxic friendly workspace.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Reasonable workload
- Employee appreciation
- No malicious outsourcing strategies
@aa+1jh3cjwbq Prior to COVID, us functioning professional adults had the flexibility of hybrid or full remote working arrangements based on our role. It wasn’t an edict that everyone had to be in the office they didn’t need to be. Many people were hired with the expectation that they’re remote workers.
Did people forget that prior to COVID, most people did work 8 hours a day, 5 days per week? Hybrid is a comprise but you fu----s are ruining it.
Who is this "Sigh" guy? He is everywhere. Doesn't he have anything better to do?
(sigh) Yes we’ve established that it’s cheaper to make people miserable enough to quit as opposed to paying them severance to leave. Psychological class warfare is the new flex in the C Suite to keep severance expenses low and executive bonuses and compensation high. I think we’ve beat this dead horse enough, don’t you?😑
