Thread regarding VMware layoffs

A breath of fresh air?

Reading someone's post here that AVGO will be a breath of fresh air made me laugh. Really? I don't know anyone who thinks that way.

If you have to put up with CIBG or WWO, or have ever tried to get a
bug fixed inside VMware,

I agree that this should be fixed, but I am all booked up this sprint and quarter. I'll put it on the backlog.

The phrase the emanates from keyboards in CIBG when a bug is requested to be fixed. Of course, it will never come off the backlog.

Fixing bugs ain't fun, and you can't make me do it because you are not in my chain of management!

It will be lovely to see if those celebrating Broadcom coming to take out the dead meat keep celebrating when they find out they are the dead meat being eliminated.

I welcome our new corporate overlords and hope they obliterate the dead wood and stupidity out of the company.

You may not want to see it but we have so much dead meat in the company that we probably need an external entity that can look past the turtles to clean up the shop.

If you have to put up with CIBG or WWO, or have ever tried to get a bug fixed inside VMware, the arrival of Broadcom is better than presents at Christmas.

A breath of fresh air like an egg fa-t below decks of a WW2 battleship in the doldrums of the South Pacific.
