The plan is to move everything to Cape Town and automate it, fyi. They are already actively doing this in the App Services dept. Just get ready for the fat to be trimmed even further.

@ar+1jqrzcykv An email from the new CTO went out Thursday after almost everyone in US Tech was laid off regarding Schoeman(old CTO) going to India to be onsite for the new 'partnership'. If you looked at Greenhouse hiring over the past few months most roles were from Cape Town, the US ones up at the beginning of the year were all removed and never filled.
Timeline would be whenever they get this offshore team up to speed, it's supposedly starting 2 weeks from now.
