Thread regarding Ford layoffs

How much pay increase would you get if you were a mid range grade 8 going to LL6?

+ any other benefits other than lease car? / insurance? Guessing might not be worth the hassle but curious.

Yeah that is dubious data you just provided @last comment. Apart from inverting far levels and jumping by two levels your gsr5 position salary starts 15k higher than people who started at that level the year before you did some a promotion to gs6 really doesn’t affect your compensation or reward tenure. They mess with tenured salary comp individuals too. Not that merit is a factor in this unfortunately at ford

Not that this is directly pertinent to the exact post of this thread, but I was recently promoted from GSR8 to GSR6 and the pay increase was around 9% with a bonus increase of 4% from the GSR5 position. With the promotion, the new salary was 75% of the GSR5 range. My understanding is within the total GSR range, the next level would be GSR7 (within 2-3 years.....)

Yep, I know a couple of people that happened to. The management lease IS NOT WORTH IT. If you get laid off they give you until the end of the month to turn in your lease. In August 2022 there were many managers laid off and had to turn in their leases, which were their only vehicles. And then had to try go buy a car with no job. Way to treat "family", Ford! SMH

A friend of mine accepted his LL6 and was laid off within 4 months. Not all LL6 positions are same. Evaluate carefully. 10% salary increase with a stupid management lease is not always worth it. Take care

The bonus is substantial. Not sure how much with new process because it is highly salary dependent. But it used to be, for HTHD, from just under $15k to $24,500. Like $9700 difference on the target.

When I went from GSR8 to LL6 it was about a 10% raise in salary. So if you make $110000 as a GSR8 then you can count on $121000.

Capped at 12-13%. Slightly higher bonus. And the management lease

More than gs5 being led one for more than a year and never getting backpay for proven misrepresentation of experience level
