Thread regarding Ford layoffs

RTO Legality Evidence

"Hey, does anyone have the clips from the GTM where Bill Ford or any other execs said something along the lines of 'we're never going back to working that way'—referring to being in the office full-time?

Also, anything they said encouraging folks to relocate or move for work-from-home flexibility?

@bf anyone who thinks a 4-day/week office mandate, just to sit on calls all day in an overcrowded space, is a good idea should retire, choke on di-ks, or both.

@bf+1jzjmgncz - really getting tired of all the whiners that worry about what everyone else is doing. You people are perfect examples of what are now commonly referred to as Karen's.

Really getting sick of all the entitled whiners complaining about having to actually report to work!

@OP Hackett said that in the TH, and he is no longer with the company. Hard to "prove" some "legality" to the WFH.

There was a period of time, where all employees could relocate and work remotely, if approved by their LL4s. Then the company gave a deadline for it, like 3 years ago, and that was it. Whoever didn't relocate by that time, is now forced to comeback to Dearborn (RTO).

We would be a threat to our very safety to be less than six feet apart and masked up. Now we can cram in three feet apart while people cough into teams meetings all day.

OP - Don't bother. Just leave because that is what they want. Really it might be the best thing for you (and them). Policies that don't make logical sense aren't designed for their stated purpose, but for something entirely indirect which has been discussed on this forum many times.
