does anyone know procedure that would share ? are we waiting for a message from our boss or is it an email that we are impacted ?

I got a 1:1 request around 8am from the head of my department for 2pm. Was cold and scripted. Almost a decade at the company and very high marks over the years. My boss said nothing to me.

Last year, laid off employees got Zoom calls or phone calls from 9 - 4:30 pm. even employees on PTO/vacation. Good luck!
In the last two years of layoffs it’s been zoom invites landing on your calendar. But I heard it might be phone calls this go round. Unsure if they’ll throw an invite on your calendar, but it usually starts no earlier than 9a PT and should conclude by 12p PT
It will probably be a short meeting from either your direct manager or from HR.
You’ll likely know fairly early in the day- but tough to say that for sure.
