At this point I think I’ll take my chances and stay at Lumen. AT&T doesn’t look any better if not worse.
Cell service does not exist in half the country still but they’ll still try and force them to it.

@bp Lumen is just Level 3 re-invented, it went BK in 1998/99 trying to follow the same path apparently.

OP -- be careful what you ask for. You need to go over to the ATTLayoff page and look at those comments. Their CEO may be the most hated since prior to child labor laws.
We have 2 former Att technicians working with us.
They say, Lumen is kitty kat compared to Att.
ATT is forcing all customers to the wireless and punish any techs making repairs to the copper.
From AT&T CEO about Lumen, “US economy more competitive. We're going into footprints and markets where the previous owner didn't have the wherewithal and capability to do that”. Lumen lacking wherewithal, shocker.
