The only people championing going back into the office are old white people and middle management who are miserable as fu-k at home with their wives and kids. No one wants to sit next to you at the office Steve and Martha. You guys are annoying and we would prefer you NOT come to our desks and NOT bother us all day. We work better when you shut the fu-k up and leave us alone. Being in the office has NOTHING to do with metrics.

@bct. In Systems, Mgt, and ET a ton of work exaggeration amd using lower levels for cr-p work they should be doing themselves goes on. They bank their PTO hours and just say they are overworked. It’s pathetic and a long term thing.

Smart folks see it but can’t say a thing. They get micromanaged even more than normal and blacklisted.

Too many examples to point out but it’s the ET and systems “way of work”.

No biggie. It is an American Disabilities Act claiming wrongful termination and no accommodation. SF lost the summary judgement. Now it will actually go to trial. If you read the actual case it is far from a slam dunk for plaintiff-which is why SF hasn’t settled.

Even without a disability, it’s a very hard job to do and stay mentally healthy. They turn the stress level to the max on their claims employees. Most of the people calling in are angry. Now it’s even worse as inspections are taking longer, calls are waiting on hold forever all day, task queues with tens of thousands of tasks unworked, overtime, and everything else. They don’t care about the toll any of this has on their undervalued and overworked employees, of which there are too few.

8 years of education to exclude customer service providers.

It’s amazing the differences in roles, I’m a data person who loves to project why.

In my time I’ve never heard that of huge customer service scandals that would wind up in HR. Internally.

It really goes to show the differences in the company on how lower paid people are treated, vs the work they perform. We must not be office liabilities due to be chained to desks.

I’d like to hope I’m wrong but deep down I know there’s salary folks who struggle to meet 30 hours let alone 40 and causing office drama.
