Employees calling for CEO resignation, CFO firing, pause on shareholder dividends

I've heard each of these from many people around the water cooler.

Our company balance sheet is not healthy. We need new leadership.

Hard working employees will be severed, those left will pick up the slack and suffer reduced bonuses. It is only fair that shareholders help shoulder the burden caused by the mismanagement of cash balances.

I'm tired of the excuses. Interest rates aren't high, they are just back to historical norms. To be surprised by this is embarrassing.

The “I don’t know what part of the world you live in” guy is delusional. Interest rates are high but historically average at best. Look back to the 80s. History doesn’t start when you were a teenager. Next, economy is cr-p doesn’t lead to high inflation, unemployment is still very low. Please go back to college and take an economics class. Lastly, yes, all the problems are not self inflicted, but a lot are. Buying longer term bonds in a rising rate environment was an obvious mistake that we are all paying for.

When I last checked, the CEO answers to the Board of Directors- of which he sits as Co-chairman…. This plot line didn’t work out too well in Succession.

It's like you attacked Trump at the Wisconsin Republican Primary.

@rjy+1oo1hb36 It sounds as though I ‘attacked’ 90% of the posters on this forum by questioning any credibility they could have to call for the CEO’s resignation, or firing of the CFO.

I dont know what part of the world you live in, interest rates are high, the economy is cr-p, Commercial real estate is declining, residential is next, so all companies are making cuts to improve the bottom line. Doesn't excuse the way that this is all being managed but I as an adult, understand the domino effect. Compare your gas and groceries costs... they're not the same they were 3 years ago. To argue otherwise is delusional.

@kuv+1oo1hb36 I'm quite certain you are right. Also, nice job attacking the messenger instead of debating the message.

We should definitely take a set of hateful randos seriously. The same people who don’t even know who is on the EC or why they weren’t invited to a specific “all hands.”
