Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Waiting for 401k vest; cannot wait to leave the Titanic

This place is going down the drain. Tired of dealing with the incompetent folks in India, being underpaid and dealing with bureacracy.

I have little to no repsect for any of the people I work it and its just a cesspool of mediocrity and stagnation who are just seat warming for last 20 years.

Joining this company was the biggest setback of my career.

Hoping if there are layoffs or im let go , its after the layoffs and midyear ( or whatever the heck it is) happens

Crazy that whenever the FCG essay kid is brought up the comments get wiped.

This company is likely to be dissolved during the fourth turning. Nobody will bail them out.

You can’t have that much in your Ford 401k, if it is so bad, just leave. You will be more productive elsewhere and make it back soon enough.

If Ford goes down like Titanic, I’m pushing Rose off that door floating in the ocean!

You must not ignore those Ford Voice + Surveys. It does go into a black hole and is never implemented, but the feeling of sticking it to your worthless manager is priceless. Nothing better than seeing the look on their face and the mood after they are made aware of it.

Just coast like everyone else, turn DND on Slack and Teams, don't answer direct messages unless they are from your manager. Spend time using the free Udemy benefit, learn how to play the Bassoon or Banjo. Also, don't show up for meetings, even if you are the one who is the host.

Make sure that you find another job first. It is really tough out there. D-mb- down work at Ford but still pays to feed the family.
