Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

All employees of all companies think their employer is f’d up!

You folks are no different and are the standout whiners. Go somewhere else.

This Chief Whiner comes through in the clutch. Must be living in mommy and da da’s basement.

So essentially, what you’re saying is that you momentarily pulled your thumb out of your a-s, wiped the drool off your chin, and logged onto your neighbor’s Wi-Fi—just so you could post a bi--hy rant calling us the problem?

Impressive multitasking. Ever considered applying for an executive role?

As of market close on May 23, PepsiCo traded at $129.34—about 30 cents lower than it was in April… of 2020 ($129.64 on April 8, 2020).

You remember 2020, right? The year you wouldn’t stop coughing, couldn’t taste your slop, and had no idea why.

Then you “meticulously” pored over posts from folks in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and IT—
Oh, wait. My bad. Forgot my audience.

You readed a lot of big words by much, much people…

Maybe all those syllables just made you cranky, but I digress. You saw conservatives, liberals, centrists, and communists all voicing the same objections together—and your grand insight was “they’re just whiners”?

Well, aren’t you a god-damn genius! Log off, tuck that thumb back in, and if you don’t like it here… Go somewhere else.

You definitely wonder why “they just don’t call anymore,” don’t you?

@a3+1jw22reg5 you are correct. The difference is because you don't have Indians who have captured the entire leadership and mid level like in Pepsico.

@b6 -I don’t think “racism” is the right word here. Speaking from experience—as someone who lacks traditional soft skills and is American—I often feel bullied by those who excel in soft skills. I believe it comes down more to individual behavior and upbringing than race. The toxic environment and current market pressures are making people increasingly insecure.

Many of the people sharing their experiences here do so because they care about PepsiCo. It was a great company—and it still can be—if we move away from this culture of constant competition. I genuinely hope leadership is paying attention and takes meaningful action. For context, my coworker is also American and quite manipulative, which further reinforces that this isn’t about race—it’s about people and accountability

@a5 No wonder some DPA VPs are running scared now - desperately trying to discredit the flood of comments from S&T employees on Layoffs site , especially as their names keep coming up in connection with repeated abusive behavior. DPA is a sinking ship. No other PepsiCo thread on Layoffs site has drawn this much attention. G-ayatri has certainly left a remarkable legacy—her VPs are in full panic mode.

I agree. that other thread is so funny, people posting racist messages mostly, but songs and other nonsense. lol, these are clearly disgruntled trolls venting against their managers.

Pepsi is not perfect but is a very tolerant employer. Due to market it is stuck with these trolls who won't perform and won't move on.

I tend to agree with this post I’ve been at Pepsi a long time! It’s not perfect by any means. But if you don’t like it leave it !
I’ve chosen to stay so I have no right to complain I choose to be grateful for a long career and continued employment!

Nothing wrong if you don’t like it but go find another company mpany If you can’t then appreciate what you have!

Pretty simple

Sounds like some unfit DPA leaders / VPs decided to undermine this Layoffs site - out of fear of S&T employees speaking out openly about the toxic DPA mess!

While that is true, just check the layoff threads of our competitors. You will notice little activity there. The number of times toxic culture is mentioned here is hard to ignore. Something is clearly amiss at pepsico
