The poor job market not withstanding, if there is anyway to leave this sinking ship, do it soon. My physical and mental health took an enormous hit from working in this dumpster fire - and I’ve only been here 7 years. Rather than wait for either a VRP or firm offer - I’m done and the catharsis that will be giving notice next week to my manager will be more relieving than a two week vacation in Hawaii. I’ll live off my assets for now. Good riddance to this horror show. This stinking mess needs a house cleaning from the top down. The failed leadership should be shown the door immediately.

And department of labor said this nda agreement is ridiculous! You are lucky you are allowed to breathe fresh air. Suggested an attorney or at the very least wait until 11/1/25 and work wherever you want including coke!
Well I have a meeting tomorrow with the department of labor and an bringing my vrp. In many states you cannot prevent a person from making a living. They also avoid the warn act by laying off or offering vrp to select individuals at many plant totaling 100's of layoffs, hence avoiding the warn act

Sickening how HR is impotent across Pepsico and how the speak up process is broken … abusive toxic environment in a company with a brand that supposed to be all about joy and well being … irony !

@b6+1jttm10pe - Where in the VRP does it say you cannot work anywhere that sells food, alcohol, beverages or C02? Mine says that I cannot use the company's confidential information, but I don't see language that specifically prevents me from working for a competitor.
And wait until you read the vrp. You can not work anywhere that sells food or alcohol, soda or co2 and you can't perform a job that you performed at pepsi. These jokers are destined to burn in the next life.
Quiet quitting is the way to go at this time until the job market improves. Employers are offering lower wages, unless you are okay with that. There will be more rounds of layoffs. Profits are down for both snacks and beverages for the for seeable future.
From one employee to another, please do yourself a favor and quiet quit. They’ve taken 7 years of your mental stress. What’s another few more to do the bare minimum and drop hints about exploring other companies. Your severance package will be here before you know it!!!!
