Ford headcount reduction

Ford recently reduce the total number of headcount by 258 employees since 5/27. This is good news. 9,742 more to go in order to meet the reduction target.

The goals are a joke. If they were serious about anything FNV4 would have been cancelled earlier and we'd be past this BS by now.

LL4 and LL3 are a joke. Zero contribution and just a roadblock never mind. Look at how many status meetings are just a brief them as middle-management. In some of my recent meetings I’m watching my work as an LL6 get presented and regurgitated to LL2. No clue how they justify their positions.

Some really good points on lack of goals from leadership. Not just a Ford issue. I think this generation of leadership in the auto industry is completely in over their head and couldn’t engineer their way out of a wet paper sack.

LL4 objectives?? Our just kept saying he would send them out, then 2 days before we needed them done, he forwarded a copy of DFs PowerPoint and said to use them. What a joke

We never get objectives from our LL5 or LL4, yet we’re expected to submit ours every year. What a joke.

TO FORD HR -- BIGGEST BUST to DISCOVER !!!!!

Lay off all LL4 , LL5 and LL6 who do not have clear defined goals for last 3 years.

  • Check for deadlines , implementation , verification and validation targets.
  • Verify that PR goals are not the same for3 consequent years.
  • Verify PR goals match the department objectives
  • Verify that LL4 shared their main PR goals and objectives to engineering
