Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

God help you if you end up staying in Diabetes

Well, if you didn't need any more evidence that the board and c-suite is loaded with rent-seekers hand picked by Geoff to prop him up and share around the profits as they pump and dump Medtronic by slow death, Que's appointment as CEO about seals it.

GM allowed a record tenure in CEO terms after year upon year of sh_tty performance, and "checks all diversity boxes" Que managing to deliver the death blow to Diabetes in her short time here...

Yeah, those are not coincidences or lucky streaks.

GM's goal is to enrich shareholders? Please. How's that working out for MDT bag holders?

The townhall meeting was awful. They want you to keep doing what you're doing, which is their way of saying - stop questioning us, it's all going to the dumpster but it's going to be okay!

Q probably has some dirt on some of the board members. There is no way she could have stay on for this long. She makes other well deserved DEI hires look bad.

Q is legit awful and it isn't an exaggeration. She is well known as yelling at people, making them cry, bullying and harassing them, humiliating them. She's been coached on it but she's protected. Honestly the perfect hire: in cahoots with Geoff and gang and checks all the DIE boxes. Medtronic would never fire a high profile rainbow person, ever.

About Q… that ‘woman’ is vicious and toxic. And MID-ET, can’t look at them directly as Informed in movie “Wolf of WS”

Remember GM's goal is to enrich the shareholders, not to help patients.

The sell of Diabetes was on the stratplan a few years ago alteady. It was crucial to get the approval from the FDA for Minimed that was pending for 5 years or so! Then they had to wait until Diabetes would perform a bit, otherwise the chance of selling was nil.
It was always part of the plan… now it’s just official.

Tenet 2: ‘To direct our growth in the areas of biomedical engineering where we display maximum strength and ability‘

Looking at the results since Neutron Jeff took over, seems to suggest that diabetes failed to display strength and ability in this area.

I like how they presented this change as something positive. All I read was "we are running low on cash, its so bad that we have to sell our fastest growing OU. Also, fu-k the shareholders, 4 % of global profit is gone from your dividend"

Yeah. These people are 100% cashing out... all of them. It's tragic. Omar's fault.
