Ford Fairlane Plaza Buildings Sold?

I just read that the Ford Fairlane Plaza buildings were just sold. How does that align with RTO? I suppose they could be buying some other buildings, but I would think Ford would want to hold on to the real estate they have for this so-called 5 day RTO initiative.

The people already working in the Book building are scamming Detroit by claiming they were not in the office 90% of the time, then getting a refund of 90% of the Detroit city tax withheld.

The first letters in the reply to fit your comment. This is not happening.
#1 the lower levels were filled with water for decades. Groundwater.
#2 if it is being planned, how many more taxpayer dollars are included in the plan?

I believe there are plans for a multi level underground plaza with parking slated to be built under the train station. Parking for around 600 cars on 5 underground levels. This would help with having to park far away from the building and also provide more safety.

Get ready to work in the train station! In exchange for $270 Million from taxpayers, Ford committed to having 5,000 people working in the building paying the extra 1.2% Detroit income tax. There is nowhere near 5,000 people working there, and if and when there ever are, good luck finding a place to park.

Ford didn’t own those buildings to begin with; they were always rented space.

CPTC: Children's Palace Technical Center! Remember that name? (It was a CP store before the khaki wearing minions onboarded).
