Best Buy Co. has appointed Neal Sample as its new chief digital and technology officer.
Sample most recently served as an executive vice president and chief information officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. He had been at the pharmacy retailer for less than two years.
WOW...Ok this should be interesting. Neil is going to HATE Best Buy. Best Buy is not a parties allowed company. Hasn't been since before Hubert days. Like all companies there is areas that can trim but the Senior Executive Vice President of Channel & Customer Experiences & Enterprise Services just got canned with no back fill. I know several other SVPs just got kicked to the curb. BBY will likely totally wack even more of the way too many SVPs/VPs and Sr. Directors they have and don't need. I predict push back from our CEO & CFO if he want's to spend. EVERYTHING is going to the CFO now. That is a very Hubert/Sharon move from a decade ago and Corie trained under them.
Interesting that this has not be announced internally at Walgreens.
This guy is a real fraud. He conned yet another company to hire him. He will work at BB for a year, destroy that place, make good money and then leave for his next victim. BB will be bankrupt by then.
Guy was and is a b-m. What a waste of money they paid this bozo. But that is part of Walgreen's history...waste money and keep paying fines for being unethical. Walgreens has been caught so much for this...being unethical.
