The best you are going to see out of it will be 12 dollars. I wager that it won't get any higher then that. If your waiting for any higher it's going to be a while. Just sell and take the loss as a tax write off.

@h0 I unfortunately own some stock in the Big F from my stint back in the 90s.

I keep hoping it will go high enough again to sell.

The “It’s coming….” guy always posts the statement but provides no details. What a useless post. Of course layoffs will occur. They always do.

That's great and good for you! Just be prepared for more of the same (albeit less offensive I hear) over there. You want to leave this certain breed of accountability behind you are going to have to leave the automotive industry with the exceptions of Lucid or Tesla.

@h0 Same, I’m supposed to be getting my offer letter from GM within the next few days already.

Last post here. I am out of all this. Ford is not the future anymore for me.
Maybe their future is with cheap vehicles made of chassis, wheels and brushless motor from a lawn mover. Good Luck everyone finding another job! Life goes on.

Did you forget about the hundreds that were let go, many of which were from that business unit? I swear a good portion of that 10 or so billion + that was sunk absolutely went up someone's nose. It's the only thing rational people who aren't disconnected can reason out. We can't really comprehend how the managerial class works without accountability and just casually lets people go that were working to make the impossible happen up to the last minute. No more booger sugar for you d*ck heads because now we have to start making something happen. Oh yeah...and next time an architecture fails how about YOU leave instead of the people that lost sleep trying to make your pipe dream a reality. Buck should stop at the top but it apparently doesn't so here we are.

Trump is planning to ki-l EVs and cancel Biden's EV mandates with a new bill. This is when it starts.

@fr+1jwxn2yde Ford will be behind GM, Rivian, Lucid , TESLA , KARMA , ZOOX by a big margin (in YEARS) if you understand vehicle architectures (advanced level) and how it works. My assumption is that you a new hire right after school or someone from HR department who is convinced with anything easily.

You sound jealous to not be working in Model e. There are opportunities to come to Model e if you put in the effort.

Stock market needs to drop 50% or Ford stock sell off back to 4$ or lower to trigger mass lay offs. This is coming across all sectors. Let's make America Great Again ! Red hats...

"....,we are family."

Oh..you are one of those. You are patently incorrect and if you think this way, all words out of your mouth should be mistrusted with prejudice. You work in HR don't you?

All are safe here for 2 more years, just relax and focus on work , we are family. Dont try to switch job now because no one wants f*** people any where. they know all leaders and employees are alike here.

I was given notice and immediately offered to resign my contract for 80% of current pay and they kept me

See... this is the purpose of the H-1B visa: To force people to accept lower wages.

@d0, there is always an offer. I was given notice and immediately offered to resign my contract for 80% of current pay and they kept me and moved to the next person. People are just too scared in the moment to negotiate. I wanted to stay and was compensated well so was willing to sacrifice. I understand not everyone can afford the cut, but it’s a lie to say there is no choice.

@ab Ford doesn’t post WARN notices. They take the fine instead. Or they aren’t fined because they offer people a severance check.

Employee pricing actually is a smaller variable marketing spend than what they typically would on rebates and special financing

@ah at “employee pricing,” meaning minimal profit to unload inventory.

@aw the economy is booming with our President Trump’s policies. Sadly, Ford is not, with Bill and Farley’s idiocy.
