I'd like to know if there'll be any layoffs any time soon. You know, the thing we're supposed to be discussing here? The thing why most of us are supposedly here for? Is it too much to ask for to get some info on the thing that's in the actual title of this website???

Thank you Captain Obvious
Any troll topic which generates 100 responses is fine as it creates ad revenue for this site. The more you argue the richer they get.

Yes it’s too much to ask. Why? Because there is nothing layoff relavent to talk about!

Who has the $$$ to fight Chevron?
Chevron's pockets are too deep. They will see, as threatened EEs from other companies win their lawsuits against termination and unnecessary mask and testing mandates that it isn't worth the money they will lose.
OP, what you are watching unfolded IS a layoff.
No layoffs anytime soon. Normal attrition, maybe slightly elevated IT attrition. if they announce a wider vaccine mandate and firm return to office date.
I think it is too soon to tell. There are people scheduled to be laid off between now and 12/31 who are getting severance from 2020. A lot depends on success of economy, success of new model and what is decided about vaccinations. I suspect there will be more leaving for other opportunities. I doubt there will be mass layoffs in 2022.
The company will be separating a significant percentage of those employees who refuse to get vaxxed shortly. Only a precious few will be able to obtain exemption. Therefore a reduction in workforce will happen without layoffs in the traditional sense. By end of November my guess is about 10% will be gone.
Well dear, if people are caught using a fake vax card or refusing to get backed what do you think could happen once layoffs roll around?
Also, do you not have the good sense god gave you to see the current price of oil says there are no layoffs any time soon?
