Capitalizing the word "Year" in your third sentence is not professional.
@atgv+1mPHEmq1 Nah, he was right in that the OP's first post was unsourced. Also, pro-TIP: RanDomLy CapItAliZiNg words like that is not edgy. It looks like it was done by an immature 7 Year old who first got access to a computer. This is not what professional journalists do. Grow up and act like an adult journalist.
As usual the "I dO pRoPer JoUrNalisrm@#@!" mo--n was wrong
No one answers the phone for the past few days.
Rumor is that the Ridge is still open. Thanks for asking. Inquiring Journalists were waiting on this critical journalism site for the news.
Nah, we journalists post accurate news and I always cite my sources, because I am responsible and follow the standards of journalism. I don't just Talk through my hat, like someone would at a local Bar, with his friends. I have never had to rescind a closing announcement, because I never make one until I double-triple-even quadruple-verify.
I'd rather be late with a correct, verified post, then risk an even .000001% chance of being wrong in an early post. My journalistic reputation is always on the line and the readers depend on us journalists to accurately portray the news after we verify it.
My kids in high school spread rumors, but mature, grown men, and women do not.
Also, transmagrifying is not a word.
Luckily the front page thelayoff.com/sears-holdings clearly states that this site is for rumors. Rumors are difficult to post validation without disqualifying it as a rumor and transmagrifying it into fact.
Just grunting for a friend.
Again, what I Said, is that it wasn't verified or linked (in the original post). I didn't claim it was false, I didn't claim it was true. I Learned long ago, to trust, but, verify. The original poster, from 5 Days ago, above, just made a drive by post, without links, so that is the definition of "Talking through one's hat". Link it or zip it. Now that links have been provided by others, it's sufficiently believable.
Although, I would take anything from Sears.com's website, with a grain of salt. Also, the store is still listed as closing here: https://sb360.com/events/sears-list/
My larger point, wasn't about this particular store itself, but on the concept of providing verification, when people make posts like the OP did, 5 Days ago. A simple "Store X is closing on Y Date, and here is the proof of that", would be sufficient. The original post lacked that verification part. Even a stopped Clock is right, twice per Day. That's not the point. The point is not to make drive by posts, without including proof.
The Greensboro store is also no longer listed in the Store Locator. It's closed.
https://www.sears.com/stores?adcell=HNFindStores (enter zip code 27408)
The five small liquidating stores are all still listed.
Wasn't as much nonsense or talking through a hat as denier man claimed!
maybe sears.com listing it as closed every day is an indication:
https://www.sears.com/stores/north-carolina/greensboro/0001335
Right, because google has never been wrong. 🙄
Google says its closed. Can't get more absolute than that.
The five small stores are closing on June 18. Greensboro appears to already be closed, based on the video of the person who just visited it.
Still listed here: https://sb360.com/events/sears-list/
I believe they are all closing at some point in June according to 1 of the articles linked in another thread. One of the articles mentioned June 18, I think. Of course, it's all a moot point as they are all moribund, and will be nothing but empty buildings very soon, either way.
This person visited a few days ago and made a video showing "LAST 3 DAYS" signs, so I'm pretty sure it's closed now.

10 replies in, and STILL not a shred of evidence that the store already closed. Translation = OP was Talking through his hat. Take a number. Yawn, next.
@2wqg. I went through two liquidations. They both ended on Monday.
I like the elevator man. I hope he posts here more often.
SB360 usually takes a few days to remove closed stores from its online list.
Again, there is not a shred of evidence in the OP's silly drive by post. We don't Know if it is even true, so take it with a grain of salt. I won't believe it until I see evidence. For example, SB360 still lists that location on their list, so I would think it is NOT yet closed.
Stop just assuming that this nonsense is true. Happy Memorial Day!
Probably had to be out by the end of the month, and needed a few days to clear out.
Ending liquidation on a Monday is unusual, but so is ending on a holiday weekend.
Ya, elevator clown posted this in one of his sh1tty blogs, so surely it must be true. 🙄🙄
Based on what link or evidence?
Fantastic! Thanks for the update.
