Those fortunate to have received retention bonuses payable today woke disappointed as Cenovus forgot to actually pay them. Not surprising as the leadership team is too busy driving the stock price down.

Weak incompetent management in Lloyd causing high turnover combined with a mostly undesirable area to live/work as it’s more North Battleford area not Lloyd
Stock price has been going up and will be going up on Monday.
The Lloyd area doesn't seem like a competitive job market so what necessitated these retention bonuses?

The sad thing about that was every employee affected by that retention program had to sign an NDA, yet less than 24hrs later everyone in the Lloyd district knew about it. Is the company really that naive? All that did was create division and animosity
Retention bonuses wouldn’t be necessary if the company put more focus on creating an environment where people were appreciated and wanted to come to work, instead of doing all the things that develop an extremely toxic culture
What's the point?
Retention bonuses are supposed to incentivize your good employees to stay. But everyone employee comes to work each day knowing it could be their last. Makes you wonder what kind of employee Cenovus truly values.

Plant operators in the Lloyd thermal group, specifically only the 3 Edam area facilities. One of many worst kept secrets. Not sure about other business units in the company
