Americans love capitalism when the adverse externality hits other countries and all think is part of the game. But when it hits within USA then is greed and unfair. Haha

US citizen here. I got the dreaded call today. We are a team of 8 people. 2 are citizens and rest are H1-b, my manager is also H1-B who gave me the news. Looks like this is the new way forward for Cisco.
I start to feel sorry for the "guy" who states there is no layoff , nothing will happen until next year, , all the site is a bunch of crazy folks making up the story, wondering how that person feel now..:) People coming here are mental crazy..
If I didn’t come to this site, I wouldn’t have known there were even layoffs. In sales. That being said, we got hit hard the last few rounds

my guess is, most of my coworkers who don't come to this site don't even know they are happening
