Can we please consolidate all the main info in one place? Like where, how many, and which group?

Yeah CRDN R&D/R&T in Santa Rosa prior to RIFs was 35 people. 7 were let go yesterday across all levels, Eng I to Distinguished Eng. No impacts to CRDN R&D in Minneapolis. No impacts to Galway yet, but that’s due to local regulations requiring advance notice.
CRDN R&d 20% for real? Is that because of the rdn device bad clinical outcome?
I thought Aortic may also be impacted, such that there has been limited innovation in the last few years in Aortic. peripheral is so far ok with minimal impact in RD, but different story in Quality.
Santa Rosa has Peripheral, Aortic, Structural Heart, and Coronary/RDN. I’ve heard today went very differently for each BU. Coronary/RDN R&D cut approx. 20% today and is done. I have not heard of impacts in Peripheral R&D. I know of impacts in SH&A but do not know magnitude.
@aql+1mckUxJC
who are SR top talents?
Who else from Santa Rosa got laid off? I have seen at least 3 people march through the door today. Some managers asked their department to go home and relax. Would be that a signal the whole department will be let go?
Haven’t heard much for Santa Ana.
isnt santa rosa aortic? any word from that business? been awfully quiet
VP Strategic Technologies for Surgical Robotics "retired"
Director of Engineering, Global Contract Manufacturing for Surgical Robotics - gone.
for sure Santa Rosa Manager gets laid off? Specific OU?
Started in Santa Rosa. Managers getting laid off
rmv+1mckUxJC - what role in SR?
Not sure why people posting vague stuff like "cardiac and vascular affected".
That group consists of multiple large businesses and 10's of thousands of people. Wtf is the point of your post?
You might as well be saying "Medtronic is affected" cause your post tells us nothing....
Surgical Robotics impacted. Some top talent is gone.
Cardiac and Vascular Group is affected as well.
My dad was not affected by layoffs today. But I guess that makes sense because he doesn’t work at Medtronic. In fact, he doesn’t work anywhere. He’s retired.
Surgical Robotics
Business continuity and enterprise team within Global Ops gone.
Santa Rosa has started layoffs.
People are getting laid off today.
I'm not the OP, but I can assume because it's better to have everything in one post for people who are looking for information than having everybody search through dozens of threads.
So far we know Aortic Clinical is losing people.
This whole site is about layoffs, why would everyone consolidate only in your post?
Shouldn’t you only start a thread like this if you have information to share?
