Let's start with the C suite. Can easily get rid of nearly 3/4 of them simply by well structured AI inqury prompts. That's where the big impact, low hanging fruit savings can be had. Then take everything back to the 1940s and have managers have at least 30 direct reports. Can get rid of tons on high paid LL5, LL4, LL3s.

clown forecasters. just like EVs are going to take over the world. such brilliant forecasters at 1 American Road. think about it: EVs are a lot simpler than general intelligence AIs. don't meet the needs of enough people though.

@OP

Could you help by not posting the same cr-p over again? Already a post about this and yours doesn't add anything valuable to the conversation.

AI is here to stay, embrace it, use it, understand it. I now clean up my code using it.

@an

Yep it’s a signal that more cuts are on the way for American workers. Just like his comments about “we have too many engineers who cant be trained for the future EV needs”, just before the 2022 and 2023 bloodbath.

Is this his way of saying I told you so when more labor is cut? 1. I hope the realization was preexisting. He's late to the game in realizing this. 2. Public statements like this are never without purpose. There's always a signal / noise ratio. Plan on more job cuts at Ford. September RTO, public statements like this are corroboration. If you have an opportunity to jump ship from any legacy auto maker, do it soon. Going to another one isn't a sound long term plan. They dont want you there anyway so make sure its you choice to leave and not thiers.
