They will be using DHL and Accenture. Crazy.

@aj Naive of you to assume that there will be an Intel in 2-3 years.
Will DHL take part of Trade you think? They're great at all customs etc.
Bet dhl and Accenture can run it faster and cheaper and more accurate than our gentrified ancient old school team. Simple fact that we are old school paper pushers that run with bureaucracy and old tools.
@bc Accenture sounds like a good place to get a job. Lol.
Accenture the blood su-king worm of all companies
Just don’t outsource DefMet
@ac about 2 weeks, maybe 3
Ever since Zinsner got the procurement and supply chain ops team he has thought it needs to be 1/2 the size and the rest outsourced. This is what happens when finance runs procurement.
Supply Chain, Finance and many other support groups will be outsourced.
Supply chain tried this once before but the fabs whined about customer service and so the decision was reversed.
If the fabs whine now, they will be told to su-k it.
Many product groups will experience an increase in contract workers as well, with low level engineering outsourced.
Basically, the days of earning a premium wage for standard work are done at Intel. They will try to only have BB be for crucial employees.
That is how they will get the headcount down to 40k, in 2 or 3 years.
Deal with it.
Sounds like a solid experiment to see if it saves the bacon and gets a big whale hooked on the 10nm->7nm->4->20A->18A juice to stop the bleeding.
My money is more along the lines of a IBM 90s trajectory, but with none of the positive bounce decades later.
I guess ask DHL how they run a Foundary.
The pattern is clear now. There will be Zero Intel Inside Intel. Any pings of indoctrination you may still feel are from a company that no longer exists.
Please share more info, I need to know how much time I have before cut.
What’s the source? I’m in the site procurement team.
Outsource TD also plz
Sourcet? In the news or Onternal comms...? Will this be communicated to staff prior to Sept?
@OP I wonder if HR, IT, and Finance are to follow?
