@ah

Oh wow. They said so? I guess it has to be right, no doubt.

So ok, I'll be there. Will I be a productive little worker drone? Not a chance. But none of this is about productivity. I'll leach off as many paychecks as possible while doing as little as possible until I grab that severance on the way out the door.

While working in this open office environment you hear everyone’s conversation including performance assessments. That’s the type of “culture” we now have.

Everything out in the open, people talking and laughing very loudly which is supposed to help the employees work better under stress. No data needed just pure observation.

Nothing in those stats about productivity. It's about preference. Where's the data?

RTO is being pushed by commercial real estate (CRE) bankers, landlords and investors. Big ones and small regional banks. They don’t care what it costs you, as long as they get their rent, as long as they don’t lose their bútts on the investment. Greedy local governments, businesses and oil companies want people commuting. (Environmentalists should be on the side of the remote worker, but they are silent.)

Prior to the COVID era, the transition to remote work and “hoteling” office desk space was all the rage. Now all those pre-COVID studies are invalid because CRE money wants your money?

@ah the point is he wants to see the data. "Create clarity through data and facts" amirite?

Not sure about your point. JF stated that the data from expert studies and benchmarking of other companies all concluded that returning to the office environment for all is beneficial and the way forward.

Our other top leadership (DF, KG. etc) have said the same thing for a couple years now. That's it. Let's all get back to work.
