What is you don’t get the 1 week for each year on the severance package?

@aerg+15c3Dy8i is correct, 2 weeks severance for pay for each year of employment, capped at 20 years. Which is pretty c-ap if you're a long term employee, in which case they should pay for each year's service. And in the UK the government lets you take the first 30k tax-free.
It is 2 weeks for each year of service for the staff in the UK.
Only one week?
Australia is one month for each year for us permanent workers

Either sign it, take their offer, or don’t sign it and find a lawyer.
So paperwork is presented. Don’t like offer. Don’t sign. Then? They say tough sh–, you get nothing now??
How do you fight for it if it isn’t offered in the package?
Roughly 1 wk per year sounds right. That’s what I received. They owe it to you. Fight for every cent.
