In the end zerox became what it despised. On to bigger and better companies, there are plenty. Sharpen those resumes !
As a former employee 30 plus years I am sadden to see and hear how low this company has fallen. I was thankful and proud to be called Xerox. My hope was that the legacy of Xerox would be carried on into the future for the next generation.
Xerox treated me well and I was able to leave on my own. Having said this, overall the company has treated the whole of us horribly. I was never surprised by anything bad that happened. Karma ya know? Back in 2007 when we stopped paying our suppliers on time And in 2013 when we stopped giving customers the toner they needed I knew the company would never recover. Once you start that culture change (in the wrong way) it becomes engrained and you never come back from it. I miss the people terribly. I was part of many good teams with individuals I am still friends with today.
So seriously I ask - is this all CI and JVs fault?

I’ve heard rumors that Carl and Johnny are going to start charging employees to work for Xerox. It was a strategy UB wanted but she whimped out.
