Those who are rebadged to Cognizant

Just heard from Cognizant that your vacation time and sick time will not move over, so I would recommend using all that before moving over. Also, from my understanding is that with Cognizant, the bench policy will be in place and it has to be a billable project or else you are SOL after a certain amount of period.

@af Pay is the same. They are including the compensation (if applicable) you would have received in July. Yes we get health insurance, and was told there should be no gap in insurance.

FIS has huge furniture batch ( long tenured employees ) . Some are good but most at offshore units ( India ) are just enjoying without any meaningful productivity. There is plethora of such resources just waiting for severance so this move was needed.

So, basically FIS is working with Cognizant to RIF people without paying severance.
