You should work at companies that are hiring people with good salary bonus and compensation. Dig them and move on for your future career

Microsoft, stock at all time highs. Laid off thousands so far this year and will soon lay off thousands more in July. Do you really want to work for a company?
Sure us alot crying here. Lol
@ad No wonder Intel is going down the drain!
@b7 chugga chugga choo choo
Too damn lazy to look for something else.
Gonna ride the gravy train until it's done.
@ah yes. Most of the left behind will leave in a heartbeat if they could get a offer. They will be exposed if they did and they know they can hide here with the other underachievers
Because it's a job that pays me well. Every Semiconductor company lays off people. What do you mean? I have been in this industry for 25 years. This is what they do. Find a different industry of you don't like it.
Those who are left are mostly career Intel folks. Unemployable outside of Intel at the same pay. 3-5% pay raises add up over 20 years and not many companies will pay the asking price. I’m seeing many folks leave and get 70-80% of what Intel paid once they finally realize (after months and dozens of rejections and ghosting) that they won’t command $200k+ compensation packages. So they stay until the bitter end. Last fool on the Intel Titanic. Give em all violins at the firing.
The only skill I have is to talk in circles and make power point presentations.
Last I checked there are no other jobs openings that require these skills.
@a5 Nvidia, Apple.
GO…..
Sure. Please provide the list of companies that never lay off, and I'll get right on in.
@a3 skill issue
Because we are stuck here. 29 years at Intel on resume means automatic rejection
Omg. Why didn't I think of that. Thanks OP. You're the best!
Is there a company that does not do layoffs? Is it in the room with us right now?
