Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Exhausting wait

I don't want to be let go right now, thanks to the amazing economic conditions our fierce and stupid leader has ignited since January. It is awful out there, no jobs and many people available to compete for the handful available.

I'm just tired that there's no transparency, no clear direction, we're being treated like cattle and not like professionals. We know what's going on, and yet, no communication, just silence and despair disguised as the new normal.

No I'm not watching Netflix all day, in fact I work my a-s off every day and give my 100% each day.

The lack of respect shown towards the OP is a shame, nut expected since a lot of the commenters are arrogant, insensitive je-ks.

Bottom line is that the IT jobs market right now is really, really bad. If you haven't been RIF'd yet, you better start looking for a new job now. You will need the extra runway to find something else. Get ready for a lot of rejections and at least 4-6 months before getting any offers, and possibly a whole lot longer. I have been through this and it's painful.

@a3 I certainly didn't hear it here! This place is just the most miserable has (never) beens. Complaining about how AI is worthless or how racist wh---y is for complaining about h1bs. Good luck finding employment with a company that does something other than creating PowerPoints taking credit for some poor RCG sod who hasn't wised up yet to the Intel grift!
