Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Let's Talk Optics

Layoff a lot of mid and low-level employees who do the work and count on these jobs as the company needs cash but give the CEO a pay raise of $550,000 plus all the bonus incentives worth millions. Probably because the company is doing so well and that they want to make sure he gets the "atta boy" he so publicly desires. Does he still give shout outs to Comcast?

How else can the CEO make his dreams come true? Make it a family affair! Did no one in the company notice the CEO's brother is a SVP there now? Another VP from Comcast coming in and pumping up the Optimum dream in a position they probably are not completely qualified for! There is a word for that, let's see...oh gosh what is that? You know when someone in power gives family members good jobs completely based on their merit? Fair? No that's not it...hmmm

Saving money is the goal. Altice should hire a protection force to open the doors for the CEO! That will save the company on new pants for him when someone jumps out at him and says, "boo". Oh wait, they did that.

Five year high of Altice USA stock $37.87. Trading today at $2.02. Success!!!

Atta boy, Dennis. Atta boy.

Losing customers...losing revenues...interest rates on the debt going up. Its called circling the drain. The CEO/CFO are paid to keep the owner out of prison...and manage a dying company.

I had over twenty years in when I walked out the door yesterday and was hoping to be able to stay around for 2 or 3 more and retire but it didn’t work out that way. Honestly I believe they did me a favor. I’ll take a couple months off, land somewhere else, double dip on the money and retire anyway. It just p!sses me off to have watched these clowns completely destroy a company that I helped build with my own blood sweat and tears. I just hope they can manage to stay afloat long enough to honor their agreements with the people they have paid to leave.

Now is the best time for somebody to buy us. A republican led FCC is more likely to approve a sale than a democrat led FCC would. A democrat led FCC would more than likely deny any sort of sale calling it a "monopoly"

It’s going to get worse. Charter should just jump in now. Compete with Verizon. Just buy the old Dolan footprint of Long Island, Connecticut, Brooklyn and Westchester. That’s salvagable.

Company didn’t care about optics 10 years ago what tf makes you think they’re going to now? It’s sad people have lost their job but to be fair, not a single one of us is surprised by any of this. Everytime something happens it’s the same posts like this over and over, point out stuff they’re doing wrong thinking it’s going to make a difference, or post about how they hope chatter buys the company, it’s never going to happen, if it was going to happen don’t you think it would’ve already? Stop wasting your energy on this company, they don’t give a single shred a a sh1t about anyone, you should start doing the same.
