Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Where is Nelson Peltz , 3G Capital or any other Activist Investors ?

PEP's 3 year return is negative 12% while the S&P 500 is positive 50% ! Something is clearly and fundamentally wrong at PEP. It's time for some outsiders to come in and shake the place up, gut it, cut it, chop it up, sell it off, do something because PEP as it exists today isn't performing.

Read our publicly available financial statements and then find someone stupid enough to want to try to save the ship, that actually has the money to do so. Easier to let the company die, and buy the parts in bankruptcy. Shed the debts, keep the assets. No point in throwing good money after bad.

@f9 Not when the people she left behind carried on her ideology of not being able to run the place and ship everything to Indians and Indian companies. Come on now....are you the blind to the fact of what's going on?? Are you one of them?

@f8 and nothing could have been done to reverse all that in the last 7 years ? it’s not her- it’s ALL the companies - no matter who runs it, silly.

Indra left in 2018- you’d think 7 years would be enough time to change tactics. Why still blame her?

@ab. Agree that Indra encouraged alot of destructive, non-business, ideologies that have weaken this great company.

@a5 agreed. It was that mama Indra who wanted the gravy train for her country men to milk off.
We are here now seeing the after effects.

Several years ago Nelson Peltz was strongly advocating separating the beverages and foods business tobe able to focus on the specific needs and issues or each business more effectively, instead they went all in on combining them and now here we are.
