Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

New Job and the aftermath of GF

I just accepted a new job this week after being laid off from GlobalFoundries back in December! I don’t have anything bad to say about GF that hasn’t already been said here. 🤣 My experience at GF is similar to the majority of you. While it’s been stressful and disappointing both working at GF and getting let go, I am finally free of that terrible place. I’m pocketing a hefty severance and moving on. For those of you still stuck there, wishing you the best. I hope you all find happiness either there or somewhere else. Finally, a thank you to GF, for putting me out of my misery and giving me a big ole’ fat check!

Looks like we can not escape the toxic a-s licking culture of GF even on layoff .com!!
The three comments below my comment are all from the same GF HR/SLT angry boot licking troll first attacking the op and other comments, then talking to himself!!!
This is precisely the type of imbeciles we have yo put up 5 days a week at GF!!

@crl the OP is clearly still attached to GF. They should use some of the EAP benefits still afforded to them to talk to someone about their mental state

At least we can see how often this tool posts and how his stories are constantly changing. Just look for all the posts that magically up vote themselves. Ninety nine percent of this site are from this fool.

Dude, cut the cr-p. You just manipulated all the counts again and are replying to your own posts. Do you honestly think you're fooling anyone? You have a serious self esteem issue.

I’m glad you are happy with your new job. I resigned from my job at GF early last year for reasons already said by the others! Hostile working environment, cronyism, incompetent management, etc, etc. leaving GF has been probably the best decision Of my career. All the best to you and all those affected by the recent layoffs.

If a layoff forum for your fellow and ex coworkers brings you laughs and enjoyment, then you truly belong at GF.

@OP

I enjoy my job and get paid very well, that "GF bubble of despair" must have only applied to you.

If you're so happy about your current situation, and are glad to be away from GF, why are you on this site daily posting the exact same drivel repeatedly? You're always talking about moving on, but here you are stuck in your own "GF bubble of despair". Shouldn't you be on your new company's thread?

You don’t believe me, because you’re still in the GF bubble of despair. But honestly, I don’t care if you believe me or not. I wish you nothing but happiness. 😊
