Just found out that they are actively detecting if you try to badge in for others, you and whomever you are badging in for will be caught and fired.
You've been warned.

Wait until you are required to have a chip inserted with GPS to monitor all your movements and activities. No badge required!
Those smart badges would show 80% of our team walking laps around the building most of the day; one woman pairing up with an LL5 for one-on-one time; 15% of the team working in their seats all day. Bring on those smart badges!
@ac Those systems were created with good intentions. In Fords hands they will invariably be used for evil. A friend works at a large company in Texas that uses the smart badges with analytics. Their management uses a feature that shows which people are interacting. They discovered who were the people everyone was going to for assistance, aka the unofficial subject matter experts. Then they adjusted their salaries to reflect their roles.
At Ford those unofficial SMEs will be targeted for layoffs. Ford gonna be Ford.
@aa+1jzt56b2j Let me guess its a company that Boston Consulting Group recommended?
Good ole Professor Moonbeam had waxed poetic about Humanyze badges being able to track employees and have a Ford self driving vehicle ready and waiting as they exited a Ford building.
So if u get to the office and forgot your badge or lost it...you're sc--wed! Fire yourself and go home!
@a4 this is being outsourced. IE policed by non-Ford resources, and then LL4+ gets a report.
Nothing new here, move along...
Good luck "actively detecting" that lol they can't even build a decent vehicle
