Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Lets clear the air about "Intel"

The Intel you're thinking of was gone 10 years ago. You work for Bain global management consulting firm and McKinsey global management consulting firm. Do your research. Once hired there's no going back.

During the golden age of Andy Grove and Gordon Moore the seeds of dysfunction were entitled engineers including PG bi--hing & complaining about validation/test catching to many bugs in their sh-t code.

Correction @a9 TSMC doesn't use McKinsey and Bain. That is why TSMC still has well kept industry secrets and autonomy as a corporation.

TSMC doesn't use McKinsey and Bain. TSMC is probably doomed.

The Intel I remember was under Andy Grove and Gordon Moore. Granted, that was a golden age compared to now, but the seeds of dysfunction were all there even then, and they were germinating. Intel is only continuing further down a road that was laid down 30 years ago.

McKinsey and Bain are corporate vultures. Evil incarnated. Mitt Romney was from there.

Intel believes this partnership with Bain Capital will help IMS further develop its technology and contribute to the broader semiconductor ecosystem.

Intel has a significant relationship with McKinsey & Company, including hiring former McKinsey partners as executives and consulting with the firm on various strategic initiatives. Intel's current CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, previously worked with McKinsey consultants during his tenure at Cadence Design Systems. Furthermore, Intel's chief strategy officer, Saf Yeboah-Amankwah, is a former McKinsey partner. McKinsey also provides consulting services to Intel, particularly in areas like semiconductor manufacturing and talent management.
