Use your brains people. If RTO was truly for the reasons DE said - would they still hire off shore? Will LTI contractors and other vendors be relocated to US? How about teams that have members in multiple locations? What about Poland office? Don’t fall into illusion. You are being asked out, not to return to office. It’s a trick.

@OP This RTO is going to be a huge issue for International, so many people hired all over the place, we all work with people based in different countires. Are we all going to lose our jobs :(
@an Relocate or take Phase 2 severance opt-in
@bd I think you are misinterpreting my words. I said LTI and other vendors. LTI is the biggest so I call them by name. My point is - cheap unskilled labor regardless of staff or a contractor and where they are located. I’ve had a few good ones in LTI too but predominantly they are all very very low skilled (and low paid). Doesn’t even tell much about LTI as a vendor in general - they are probably just sending us candidates accordingly with the rate card negotiated at the highest levels.
@bb same way not everyone is productive at work. There are exceptions. I was only sharing my experience and sorry to hear of your negative experience with that vendor.
Can't pull everyone down for a few. Wish good luck to everyone.
@ag your standards are pretty low if LTI in your opinion are producing good output. You might even be unaware how low your own output is.
For those in phase 2, if they work in NYC and rest of team is in LA, will they ask them to move to LA, and viceversa?
my team is also remote all over the country inc the director and svp we report to - they are both out of the state of CA or NY- they were pre covid so may have been hired standard office hire - they moved later
streaming now DTC under CH
anyone know how she is planning to handle that ?
i've read you will be assigned an office but who decides where ?
What if rest of the team members are also spread across the country?
@an they'll tell you which office to go to if you're remote. You'll be assigned to an office depending on where the rest of your team is.
@ad What about employees in a town with no Paramount office? What would the guidance be on that?
Many contractors from LTI been the most hard working around. Amazing to see the quality work they bring in at such low pay. Not a one size that fits all here.
@a8 there are some people here on this website clearly under illusion or confusion or who knows under what else. Who are defending RTO and saying that remote workers don’t do any work. And when I see that - I am starting to wonder if they ever had to deal with LTI and other low paid contractors at all, and if they didn’t, then what the he-l are they even do all day. So my point is - if DE cares about quality of the output, which I very well welcome - sure, get rid of all the freeloaders, I do welcome that as well, but the biggest problem that is causing damage to quality is not remote workers. It’s low paid workers, mostly off shore contractors. They have no skills and no motivation in the product. And if DE doesn’t do that - it tells me DE is not really after quality….
@a7 I don't see that happening. They would have to close every single office in the country besides NY and LA, and of course, there aren't just singular offices in either NY or LA anyway.
I am not sure who was under any illusions? This is the typical playbook of a company like Redbird. Instead of firing people make them quit. That is all this is about.
How would phase 2 RTO work? Are the thinking of relocating every employee to either LA or NY?
yeah they're trying to lay off as many as they can
