Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel should install lie-detector

One reason for Intel's failure is people telling lies. Cheating beomes a norm, without any publishment. If the manager tells a lie, everyone agrees loud even though they know it is a lie. People are trained to be slaves, because objection to managers will result in layoff and revenge.

No. Lying, especially to Intel's detriment, is one of the only positive aspects of this cr-ppy job.

If you’re still blaming things like DEI you’re one of the reasons the company is failing. You’re too busy sending teams messages gossiping about your teammates instead of doing your best work. Management letting you stay around is another notch of failure on their belt. You clowns deserve each other

Managers are full time day traders and cost Intel billions. They destroyed Intel.

I worked for a manager who was a yes man. He defended every decision the company made. Even towards PG's end he defended the guy even though it was obvious PG's plan was failing. Glad I don't work for that clown anymore. Upper management loves boot lickers like him.

@OP and @a6 100% true. Its s shame how incompetent people lie FLMs and Second line managers are but have the power given to them by the HR and company to fire anyone who dare says something they either do no understand or agree with or feel threatened by. I have personally witnessed myself and other peers getting dinged because the manager felt threatened by them

@OP it was still an ethical place to work in the early 2000's but was degrading slowly into a "lock-step" culture as more people from certain non-American cultures joined and became the majority of the population..
around 2010 ethical behavior started becoming less and less dominant then finally the DEI wave came into prominence with BK and his cronies in HR..
so DEI hiring prejudices and promotions were the final nail in the coffin and any semblance of both Performance and Ethical work culture was completely gone which has led the company into the abyss it is currently in .
